Our lathes mill while they turn. Cross-holes, flats, and slots get cut without ever leaving the chuck.

Live tooling with C axis lets a turned part come off the machine finished. Cross-drilling, flats, keyways, and milled features all happen in the same cycle as the turning — no second operation, no re-fixturing, no drift between setups.
It is the difference between a part that needs three machines and a part that needs one. For production runs of precision components, that shows up directly in your lead time.
